New Partner Joins MCR
Sarah Bell joins MCR in April 2010 as a Partner in the Manchester office.
MCR, the leading corporate insolvency and restructuring practice, has appointed Sarah Bell as Partner.
Sarah has over twenty years experience of advising companies and financial institutions in corporate recovery and restructuring. She qualified as an Insolvency Practitioner in 1994 at a top 4 large international accountancy firm and was previously a partner in one of the UK's largest corporate recovery practices.
Andrew Stoneman, Senior Partner, MCR, stated: "Sarah is bringing with her some truly exceptional experience having managed a large number of formal insolvency appointments with particular focus on construction/contracting, motor dealerships and manufacturing for all of the major clearing banks. This experience will enable MCR to extend its market focus still further."
Sarah has worked on the restructuring of a number of multi national companies dealing with cross border issues in the US, Japan and Canada. She has acted as a court appointed receiver dealing with the repatriation of assets from Bangladesh.
In addition Sarah has considerable experience in solvent restructuring enabling the tax efficient demerger of complex business structures, maximising returns to all classes of stakeholders both corporate and individuals and the implementation of solvent schemes of arrangement in relation to companies in run - off.
Sarah is a Fellow of R3, the Association of Business Recovery Professionals and is a licensed UK Insolvency Practitioner.
