New Director for MCR Receivables Management division

New Director for MCR Receivables Management division

Renewed focus on delivering debt recovery and credit management services for businesses large and small -

Tom McWilliam has been promoted to the role of Collections Director of the Receivables Management division of MCR, the corporate restructuring and insolvency specialists.

The division is a dedicated business unit providing debt recovery and credit management services for a wide range of businesses across a number of sectors.

Tom McWilliam stated: "I am delighted to be heading a team dedicated to ensuring that our clients manage their debts efficiently and effectively. This division of MCR works with clients to identify potentially vulnerable gaps in their systems and advise on how to implement the correct measures to make sure that sales orders can be tracked, deliveries authenticated and transfer of the goods - or services - documented. Then, if a customer does default on their payments, there is sufficient evidence of their commitment to the transaction to support the debt collection process."

Tom joined MCR in 2008, prior to which he spent 10 years in a senior management role in the credit management and recoveries division of a major UK financial services organisation. He has also worked for 10 years in senior management roles in the utility, property, and hospitality industries across both the private and public sectors.

Andy Stoneman, Senior Partner, MCR, added: "Tom has a proven track record of delivery in distressed debt recovery, particularly in insolvency situations. He is well known for his speed and ability to resolve complex and sensitive situations and maximising recoveries for clients."

Tom is a fellow of both the Institute of Credit Management and the Institute of Administrative Management.
