MCR Wins Financial Industry Awards for Second Year Running

MCR, a Duff & Phelps business, has won two prestigious awards from ACQ Finance Magazine for the second year running. The Awards - ‘Debt Advisory Firm of the Year' and ‘Turnaround and Restructuring Advisory of the Year' - were made following nominations from the readers of the magazine.

A leading corporate restructuring and turnaround firm focused on insolvency administration and independent business reviews, MCR was recently acquired by global financial advisory and investment banking services firm Duff & Phelps.

The ACQ Awards are presented across 49 different geographical regions, recognising organisations and advisers that have performed to exceptional levels over the past year.

Since its launch, the Country Awards have grown in statue and importance becoming a focal point of the M&A community's calendar. Nominations - which are made by the readers of ACQ itself - are then reviewed by an expert panel and the winners selected.

MCR's win follows its acquisiton in October by Duff & Phelps for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition of MCR significantly expands Duff & Phelps' presence in Europe and enhances the firm's Global Restructuring Advisory practice.
