Duff & Phelps secures awards at North West Turnaround Awards Evening
Endless LLP ‘St Nick' Turnaround Awards recognises Duff & Phelps as winners
Duff & Phelps, a leading global financial advisory and investment banking firm, left the recent Endless LLP ‘St Nick' Turnaround Awards event in Manchester, with four awards to their credit.
Duff & Phelps secured the Mid -Tier Restructuring Firm of the Year award as well as personal successes for Partner, Philip Duffy, who was recognised as Accountant of the Year and Amanda Barlow who was heralded as PA of the Year.
The final award of the evening, Turnaround Professional of the Year, was awarded to David Whitehouse, a Partner in the Manchester office.
Commenting after the event Phil Duffy stated: "The event brings together those within the local restructuring community and whilst recognising achievements in the industry, more importantly, the evening also highlights some fantastic charities here in the region that need help and support from professional communities like ours."
He went onto say: "We are delighted to have been presented with these awards and it is a great source of pride for both our team and colleagues to be recognised by our peers."
The evening combines raising money for local charities as well as recognising the work undertaken by professionals across the advisory and financial sectors in the turnaround and restructuring community in the North West.
More than £5,000 was raised on the night and will be shared between two regional charities: the Christie Charity and the Greggs Foundation
This is the third year in succession that Endless LLP has held their awards event in the region and the success of the Duff & Phelps team in Manchester follows closely to that of the firm's Birmingham office, which was also voted Mid- Tier Restructuring Firm of the Year at the Midlands St Nick Awards event held in April 2012.
